WHY WE RIDE
Tie a Yellow Ribbon... OK, not necessarily yellow. All cancers have a color associated with them. Many of the riders on this team wear a ribbon as a display of why they ride. This ride supports cancer research of all types.
Team members, riders and volunteers, are here for a variety of reasons. Some are cancer survivors; others ride to remember or support family or friend. All have had cancer touch their lives in someway and witnessed the toll it can take on everyone it touches and those around them.
The past 30 years have shown tremendous advances in the treatment of cancer with the greatest and most promising treatments coming in the past 8-10 years. Not only are people surviving cancers that were once terminal but their quality of life has improved dramatically. We believe that the number of cancers and its' impact can and will be reduced in our life time. Progress is being made! Let's make it happen sooner rather than later.
