WHY I RIDE

In May 2016, I received the devastating news that I had a rare form of cancer called Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkin?s Lymphoma, or NLPHL. Between 400-500 Americans will be diagnosed this year with NLPHL, with most of those diagnoses coming in the first and second stages. As my form wasn?t diagnosed until Stage 3, the disease had already spread to multiple places throughout my body.

Thankfully, the personal care, personalized treatment and medicines provided me by the Siteman Cancer Center, along with the studies by the top-notch medical staff at Siteman, would not be possible with our support for their continued research and training.

And not all of our stories are as positive as mine. I have multiple friends continuing their battles against these terrible ailments. And many times, these treatments are horribly disabling as well. Please join me in support of Siteman, to raise funds to support patients undergoing these treatments and to support the research and development of new therapies and plans to make cancer treatments easier and to help find cures for specific cancer strains.
