I am riding In Memory of Fin Nayler.

I am riding In Honor of Cait Naylor and Parker Jackson.

As you know I was struck with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia Sept 2014. I spent over 180 days in the hospital or the spa undergoing chemo, infections, ventilators and relearning how to walk and talk. I am so grateful to report I have been in remission for over a year now! I truly believe I am alive for many stubbornness and my incredible support system. I believe the main reason I am still on this earth to dance poorly and to embarrass my children is because I was part of an MD Anderson chemo trial for patients under the age of 40 with AML at the incredible Siteman center.

After having such a life changing disease,,,,you want to make sure there are people that are lucky enough like me to have trails that could save their lives. So that is why I chose this fundraiser.... It's the only fundraiser that 100% of the money raised goes back to Siteman and at Louis children's hospital. There is a chance I might not be here if this organization wasn't here. I ride in memory of Bill Meadows, who fought AML along side of me and unfortunately is now my guardian angel.

Our family has been struck by cancer, way too many times. August 2019, my Fin was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. After a 905 day battle, my beautiful Fin left this earth, finally pain free. This year I ride in memory of my beautiful boy, Fin who was taken too soon. The other two kids I ride for are Cait Naylor and Parker Jackson. They are both 13 and are fighting the beast rhabdomyosarcoma. I am heartbroken to say, Parker will be joining Fin in heaven soon. Parker was diagnosed 10 months after my Fin, Fin made him a goody bag upon meeting him because he wanted to give Parker hope. It makes me furious that not enough research is focused on children especially the "rare" cancers like rhabdo. These kids and so many others deserve a fighting chance. Pedal the cause gives a larger percentage to pediatric cancers, than 99% of cancer organizations.

There are so many others I am riding for..the fighters and thrivers...Sam Williams, Roxanne Fetch, Super Thomas, Jessica Lloyd, Stacey Bradford-Budke, Tamara Weidler, my famous friend Terri, Hal Burroughs, Dr. Chris, my dad, so many patients that have changed my life. I also ride in memory of Cliff Mossberger, who was one of my biggest cheerleaders when I was sick. Unfortunately AML took him too soon. There are so many people I ride in memory of...Tammy Linn, Kallie Rhimes, Alexandria Haddock, Syndi Brown and so many more......

It takes world-class research to create a world without cancer. Please help me in this journey by donating to my ride, and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will go directly to accelerating cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
