I am riding In Honor of Victoria Drier.

This year I again ride for Team Victoria. I ride again representing The Moog Center for Deaf Education and the Moog Center family. Again this year I dedicate my ride to five very special people from the Moog Center who have been affected by cancer. I ride in memory of Karen Igou, who was the first Toddler Class teacher at the Moog Center. Karen set the standard high for our Toddler Class teachers and she has been a hard act to follow. Karen was an incredible asset to the Moog Center and we miss her terribly. I ride in memory of Margaret Schutte, who was the assistant to my mother, Jean Moog, the Founding Director of the Moog Center. Margaret was my mother's right hand gal and although her memory is strong at the Moog Center, her absence is a great loss. I ride in memory of Chris Davidson. Chris was the husband of my dear friend, Anne, who is a teacher at the Moog Center. Chris lost a 5 year battle to brain cancer. His family founded the Christopher Davidson Endowed Forum for Brain Tumor Research to help support brain cancer research at Washington University. I ride in honor of Alexis B, a student at the Moog Center. Alexis began her battle against cancer while she was a student at the Moog Center. She has since graduated from the Moog Center, beat her battle against cancer, and joined her agemates in the general education setting. And, I ride in honor of Victoria! Victoria is the daughter of my cousin, Julie, and has been the Lead Teacher in one of our Toddler Classrooms at the Moog Center. She is an amazing example of hope and perseverance. She is an amazing example of strength and overcoming obstacles. And, she has benefited from research that has been made possible by funding provided by Pedal the Cause. Victoria is an inspiration to all who have the pleasure of knowing her. Support my ride to support Cancer Research, but also to provide support to Victoria, Matt, Julie, David, Tommy, and Alex who live this challenge every day.

Again this year, I have set a personal fundraising goal of $2500. Please support my ride and help me reach my goal.

It takes world-class research to create a world without cancer. Please help me in this journey by donating to my ride, and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will go directly to accelerating cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
