WHY I RIDE

I ride in pursuit of a cure for cancer - the taker of countless, innocent lives.
I ride with dedication in honor of my friend, Clare Blase who lost her battle with adrenal cancer while we were at the young age of 14... both freshmen in high school.
I push myself every year to ride as far as I can because I know that Clare went through so much more than I could ever imagine and seemingly always kept a smile on her face with a wake of appreciation for life behind her. She?s my inspiration, no matter how small of a matter.

Thank you Clare for everything you taught me in the short time we spent knowing each other on Earth. I hope I can see you again some day.
