WHY I RIDE

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer.

I ride because not everyone is fortunate enough to win their battle with cancer. I lost my sister in 2001 to a very aggressive form of brain cancer. She had multiple surgeries to remove the tumor, and underwent chemotherapy and radiation at the age of 14 years old. She fought for 18 months before losing her battle and is missed by our family every single day.

I ride so that other families may not have to endure the loss that my family continues to feel to this day.
