I am riding In Memory of Jason Hill & Dan Rupp.

WHY I'M INSPIRED

For four years I rode in honor of my father, Jason Hill, who in 2011 was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I watched Jason compete for Pedal the Cause for 4 years riding over 175 miles despite having active tumors in his brain, lungs, head, neck, spine, pelvis, and ribs, once three days after chemotherapy. While 2016 was our first year without him leading our team, we were proud to continue Brain Trust, setting a fundraising record! While I cannot physically be in STL for the event now that we live in Florida, I will proudly ride virtually, again in his memory, continuing as co-captain of the team he started and loved.

I will also continue to ride in memory of my brother-in-law, Dan Rupp, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2015. Although not physically with us any longer, his legacy lives on as a loving husband, father, coach, son, brother, active member in his church and overall role model to both my husband and me.

This cause is especially close to my heart, because it was so close to my father's. All money raised stays in St. Louis and provides funds to the Siteman Cancer Center, where Jason was treated. Although his battle was shorter than we hoped, I know his treatment there provided extra time with him on Earth. Please help me reach my fundraising goal, any amount helps!
