WHY I RIDE

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer again this year. This year I am riding for my good friend Jeff. Jeff reached out to me late last year to tell me he had been diagnosed with diverticulitis. This was supposed to explain the severe pain he had been experiencing. Then this past February he called to tell me it was actually cancer. The diagnosis was followed by surgery and what the Doctors referred to as ?chemo light?. Over the past few months I?ve talked and texted and ?chemo light?, while it might not sound so bad, is still painful, exhausting and mentally draining. Jeff has been one of my biggest supporters throughout my career as a mentor and a cheerleader. Let?s show our support for Jeff and his family (including the babe due right around the time of pedal) by donating to the cause to continue to further cancer research and find a cure.
