WHY I RIDE

The medical community saved my life. My aorta was dilated to over twice the normal size and was in jeopardy of dissecting at any time. Thank the Lord it was caught in time. I would love to contribute to saving someone else's life.

Most likely, you have been affected in some way by cancer. There are many people in my life battling cancer, and many who have lost the battle. Unfortunately, a dear family member passed away from cancer. This is a scary disease and worth investing in finding a cure.

I have always loved cycling and my fondest childhood memories were cycling around and around the block with my siblings. I don't know where we found all of that energy! I am excited to do something I love while raising funds for such an important cause.

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's top cycling event. It's a way of life, a celebration, and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
