WHY I RIDE

This year, is more challenging than the past 11 years, cancer broke our hearts again, our family lost our sweet Alison after a long battle with Ewings carcinoma, our mom & brother-in-law are battling cancer, as are several friends & clients.

So we continue to ride with even more determination & continue to raise funds for cutting edge research & cures❣️

I also ride in honor/memory of my bestie ~ Alicia Jones Wrob who lost her battle with breast cancer on September 23, 2016 & for every woman, man and child battling cancer.

And we ride for Logan, our Pedal the Cause Ride for a Child! Logan, along with Tyrayah & Matthew, are living proof that our determination to ride cancer curing bikes is worth it!

I am doubling down again this year, as Alicia soars high above us and committing, to raise $5000 ~ Queen of the Mountain! As in years past, I continue to miss my original team the Hill Climbers. However celebrating Alicia's daughters, Erika & Haley & continuing to grow Alicias Army is where my heart will always be. Alicia's twins selected a rockin strong name to celebrate their mom's life and the legacy that lives on in their hearts. Alicia's light shines on our faces & radiates through Erika & Haley's kind hearts & generous spirit and each of the riders of Alicia's Army!

One day, the researchers we fund, will find a cure for every type of cancer on the planet!
