WHY I RIDE

My wife who has ridden with me in Pedal The Cause for 10 years is a living, breathing example of why this event, where 100% of the donated money goes to cancer research is helping researchers make great strides toward finding a cure for this dreaded disease. Keri was diagnosed with a form of Lymphoma several years ago that for a period of time required only watchful waiting until symptoms appeared. In the recent past this would have required chemotherapy. She was able to receive targeted infusions and take oral pills with far less negative side effects than chemotherapy but just as positive results. The only way I can thank the researchers, Siteman, and of course Dr. Amanda Cashen enough is by trying to help other cancer patients find the same miracle Keri found. Cancer research is making a difference and Pedal the Cause is the ideal fundraiser to help further it!
