WHY I RIDE

In 2018 my grandma was diagnosed with leukemia that later progressed into lymphoma. To say this rocked my world is an understatement. My grandma was such a strong, caring, compassionate woman who helped make me the person I am today. She was such a presence. Sadly, she succumbed to her cancer less than a year after she was diagnosed leaving the world a little less bright for many of us. She is missed everyday.

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's top cycling event. It's a way of life, a celebration, and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
