WHY I RIDE

In June 2019 (at age 49) I was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. It blew me away; I was in complete shock. I'm extremely grateful for my entire family, my friends, and medical staff from Siteman, BJC, & Wash U. that comprised the mosaic of my caregiving team. The level of medical care I received and the state-of-the-art chemo regimen I underwent were the "latest & greatest" in part due to those who've come before me in fundraising efforts and Research & Development. Today I am a Survivor!

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
