WHY I RIDE

I am happy to share that I am riding in Pedal the Cause and have joined the fight against cancer. This year's Pedal the Cause is on Sept 23 & 24th.

I am riding in honor of one of my best friends, Julie Lenoard. Julie is a breast cancer survivor and one of the strongest and bravest women I know. Being up close during her fight really gave me insight into what a hard road this is.

I am also riding in loving memory of my dad, Larry Atwood. He fought a long and hard battle against cancer and showed me what true courage and resilience look like. He is one of many people that have fought this battle with grace and strength. I miss him every day and feel like this is one way to honor him yearly.

Cancer research is as important as ever.
