WHY I RIDE

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.

Ben and I are training for this together (with Evelyn and soon to be Oliver, in tow of course), as a continued adventure in cycling as well as wanting to help and support cancer research as a whole. After working in Medical Oncology for almost 4 years now, I see what it takes in both the effort to obtain funding as well as the personal dedication of each researcher required to perform the research. With many personal connections to cancer patients (my father, both grandmothers, aunts, good friends and so many more) I could not think of a better way to support life-saving research!
