I am riding In Memory of Anne Hoylman.
WHY I'M INSPIRED
I am proud to join Pedal the Cause as a rider this year in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's top cycling event. It's a way of life, a celebration, and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
While on one hand I humbly say that I am a breast cancer survivor thanks to early detection, I'm more motivated than ever this year to help create a world without cancer. I've volunteered at Pedal the Cause several years now, but this year I'm becoming a first-time rider this year in memory of my sister Anne Hoylman, who passed away from a very aggressive kidney cancer on August 4.
It takes world-class research to create a world without cancer. My sister's oncologist, Dr. James Hsieh, is very active in research on kidney cancer. Please help me in this journey by making a donation, and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will go directly to accelerating cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
