WHY I RIDE

My husband, Tom, has been biking with Pedal the Cause for a number of years. I joined him as a rider last year and decided to ride again this year.
My cancer journey has been a hard one. I am a cancer survivor myself. I just had my 7th year cancerversary this July. I am happy to say that with continued efforts I am healthy. I have had many close family members struggle with cancer over the years. I also lost my dad to brain cancer in 2021. I choose to ride for them and to ride for my family and friends who have supported us through these hard times.


Pedal the Cause is a wonderful organization and I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer.
