WHY I RIDE

Our daughter Addi was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in December 2020. She was entered into a clinical trial at St. Louis Children's Hospital and advised she would be in treatment for twelve to eighteen months. In July 2021 her scans revealed the cancer was gone and we celebrated. December 2021 scans showed an "annoying spot" which "caused concern". We lived in hopeful optimism tempered with concern and a bit of anxiety.
April 8, 2022 scans yielded the "it's gone" words we had been seeking for 474 days.

Some of Addi's fellow warriors aren't able to continue the fight, so we will do it for them. We ride in hopes that one day situations like ours will be relegated to medical journals and history.
