WHY I RIDE

Once again, I am joining the fight against cancer by participating in the fourteenth annual Pedal the Cause bike challenge. Pedal the Cause has the mission to provide funding for cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital through their annual cycling challenge in hopes that the research funded by their event will ultimately lead to a cure for cancer.

This year I am riding in honor of my friend, Andy Black who has been fighting against Hodgkin's lymphoma. In past, I have lost few of dearest relatives, my beloved uncle, Mohammad Ayub, sister-in-law, Shahrina Haque, dearest aunt Marufa Rahman and dearest aunt Helena Akhter who passed away suffering from Multiple Myeloma, Stomach cancer and lung cancer. I strongly believe that we together can make a huge impact if we work together and help the cancer research.

Please help me on this journey to find a cure by donating to my ride. I have committed raising $2,500 for cancer research and 100% of your donation will go to directly to this cause. I hope you will join me in this grassroots effort to advance research and find a cure.
