WHY I RIDE

I am proud to increase my commitment to Pedal the Cause and strive for the Yellow Jersey. Cancer took away a woman who always gave back so much to the community through several programs dedicated to children. I remember mom shopping to find the perfect toy for Santa to deliver and wrapping it with such detail to ensure a smile on a child's face. She also ran annual bicycle rodeo's that provided children with helmets and brand new bikes. She always stepped up and took any opportunity she could to give back. I now am doing the best I can to follow in mom's footsteps and give back by raising money to strive towards a world without cancer.
