WHY I RIDE

I'll always ride for Dad. And for my friends who continue to inspire me in their journeys in living with and fighting cancer. E, let's keep pedaling!

Cancer sucks and deprives too many people of too many good years. At times it feels so pervasive, it seems easier to throw up your hands in resignation...it feels too big, too widespread to defeat. Thankfully, the recipients of this event represent the other end of that spectrum. They are constantly advancing research; fed by the collective will, motivation and financial boosting of thousands of people. I'm proud to be one of the motivated thousands.

Since I can't be in St Louis on the ride weekend, I'm committing to riding 100 miles on my own. I hope you will support me in this effort to provide funding for cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital with hopes to ultimately lead to a cure for cancer.
