WHY I RIDE

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. This amazing and inspiring organization makes a huge impact as it directly fights against this illness that impacts millions of individuals and their families each year.

Each year, I ride in honor of Dave Hopper and in support of my husband, Tommy Hopper, and his family. Dave lost his long, hard-fought battle with cancer in 2019. My world is certainly brighter for having him in it, and I am proud to ride in his honor. Cancer has impacted far too many lives, so I also ride with the hope to find a cure for each and every person and their families who continue to fight their own battles with cancer each and every day.

It takes world-class research to create a world without cancer. Please help me in this journey by donating to my ride, and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will go directly to accelerating cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
