WHY I RIDE

This year I am Co-Captain of Pedaling Pioneers. The Pedaling Pioneers are riding for Mallie Royer #MALLIESTRONG this year!

Mallie is a beautiful young woman who loves painting, puzzles, music and Netflix. On August 18, 2015, Mallie was diagnosed with Grade IV Glioblastoma at the age of 16. That was the day their lives changed forever. The impact of the word cancer is profound, however, when the word is used to describe the condition of a teenager, profound seems inaccurate. There are no words to justly describe the feelings that surround a diagnosis such as this.

I've also worked with Jay, Carrie, and the rest of PTC staff for 5 years now. We have an awesome partnership and they have inspired myself, friends, and family to ride for the last 5 years. This organization is unique because all the money stays in STL and benefits STL families.
