WHY I RIDE

This year, I will be riding with Pedal the Cause for the 6th time and am proud to be a co-captain of our fabulous Bartlett's Bikers. I am an oncologist and clinical researcher at the Siteman Cancer Center who specializes in the care of patients who have lymphoma. My research is focused on the development of novel therapies for patients with lymphoma and identifying ways that we can personalize their care. I am privileged to take care of remarkable people who are brave each and every day. They are my greatest inspiration and I ride for them. Each day, I witness how the research we do directly impacts the lives of my patients and their families. I hope that in my lifetime, I can see them reap the benefits of the efforts of our research community and take steps towards a world without cancer.
