WHY I RIDE

In January 2020, my mom, Diana Lutz, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since March of 2020, my mom has been going to the hospital every other week to receive CHEMO. Scans that she is getting show no growth in the tumor which is great. My mom is the strongest person I know and has a fantastic positive attitude on LIFE! Like everything she has faced in her 82 years, she will beat this also! Recent Scans in July 2022 were inconclusive. One tumor on pancreas grew a little and the other shrank a bit. My mom has good days and every now and than the build up of chemo tires her out and she will spend the day resting.

I love our visits. in the last year, we have had lots of time together in both Nashville and Atlanta!

Doing anything in any way associated with Siteman Cancer Center or St. Louis Children's Hospital is both a privilege and an honor. Both are such amazing institutions. I know that I don't need to reflect on that with you. We have all been touched in some way by the care, the research, the doctors or the staff at these two fine hospitals. Sometimes it can be all too close to home.

No amount is too small. Please join me in the fight to cure cancer by donating to my ride. Every mile counts; every dollar counts.

Thank you!
