I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's top cycling event. It's a way of life, a celebration, and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.

It takes world-class research to create a world without cancer. Please help me in this journey by making a donation, and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will go directly to accelerating cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.

My physical conditions do not allow me to ride the bike, however, I want to sign up for inspire to raise money for cancer research.
I am very proud of being a part of this wonderful fund raiser.

I started in 2016 with the diagnosis of Stage 3C high grade primary peritoneal cancer ovarian cancer. At that time my survival rate was 5 yrs or Dr. Hagemann thought there was a very good chance to have a 80% chance of survival. So far, I'm headed for my 6th year starting in Sept.
It has been a long road with 58 chemo treatments, and now, I'm on lymparza as a maintenance drug. I cannot express how happy I was
to have landed in Dr. A Hagemann's office. I did end up loosing 2/3 of my colon however, with Dr Hagemann's help we have worked out
a way to handle this. I work up with a colostomy bag, and within 3 months she did the reversal and working out the kinks I have a better
quality of life.
I am presently on lymparza and come this Sept it will be my 2nd year. With all of the chemos that I have had, it makes me eligible to
continue on perhaps for six years. I feel confident it will happen. If it wasn't for the research of the part inhibitor, I would be on chemo,
and not having a good quality of life. I owe a lot to Siteman in their constant research for my cancer and so many kinds of cancers helping so many people.
