WHY I RIDE

Everyone has been affected by cancer. And Cancer SUCKS. I am riding in memory of my dear childhood friend Eli Abeles, who lost a quick and courageous battle against kidney cancer four years ago, and in memory of my grandfather, Fred Skor, who lost a fierce and too quick battle against leukemia in 2007. Together, with our support, incredible doctors and researchers can continue to find ground breaking drugs and treatments that are helping people fight these terrible diseases.

Pedal the Cause is more than the region's top cycling event. It's a way of life, a celebration, and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer. It takes world-class research to create a world without cancer. Please help me in this journey by donating to my ride, and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will go directly to accelerating cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.

On Saturday, September 24, alongside some of our Big Ten Bicycling team, we will ride 27 miles on the Katy Trail. Please help us raise funds for a World Without Cancer.
